Case Manager – Housing Choice Voucher Program
The Housing Authority of the County of DeKalb is seeking a full-time Case Manager specializing in Housing Choice Voucher rent recertification and case management.
The right candidate must possess outstanding computer skills, be detail oriented, and posses the ability to multi-task. Candidate must demonstrate the ability to work with a diverse population and people of various socio-economic backgrounds; possess strong customer service and communication skills; maintain a high level of professionalism and confidentiality.
Responsibilities include maintaining tenant files, conducting annual and interim re-examinations; verification of information obtained in interviews, calculation of rent portion, and administrative support duties as needed.
Candidate must have a HS diploma/GED, and related professional experience is preferred. Familiarity with the housing choice voucher or public housing program, and general knowledge of its laws and regulations a plus.
