COVID-19 & Your Housing – What you Need to Know!
Per the federal government’s Coronavirus Aid, Relief and Economic Security Act we are aware that participants may be receiving a stimulus payment. HACD considers this to be a one time sporadic payment and will not be counted towards your household income. Tenants are assumed to have received this and will not be required to report it. All other income or family composition changes MUST be reported within 10 calendar days. We hope that you and your family remain healthy and safe.
If you are laid off, you must provide a letter from the employer stating the reason and time frame of lay off.
Unemployment benefit award letters must be provided and you must complete the unemployment verification form.
